In another 8 hours time, it will be Year 2008. I hereby wish everyone a HAPPY NEW YEAR first because I will be going for mahjong tonight.
I just came home from buffet lunch with my colleagues at Sakura. A total of only 12 people because it is a treat from Uncle James and well, many are not invited though. I think it is very very very important to maintain a good relationship with colleagues otherwise, they will outcast you. I think it is the same in all working environment because wherever I go, same thing happen. People telling me this person "..." and so on. But seriously, in this company, I share the same thought with them because I can't stand some of the people's working style. They always like to mention "BOSS say...". This is super irritating.
I don't care who say as long as you do it properly and for goodness, don't tell me stories because I only want you to help me get the supporting documents and no need so many explanations. There is always a lot to learn from office politics. This is to refrain myself from being outcast as well. Feel free to consult me if anyone wanna know how to keep yourself away from the 'topic'. But I will charge you $20/hr basis.
We started our lunch at 2pm and ended at 3.30pm after the waitress asked us to leave because they closed at 3pm and we were still chatting.
Uncle Pek sent me back to Dar's place and Dar is still not home at this hour. Today is eve of public holiday and he is still working like an ox. I wonder is I should be glad that he is such a workaholic and sad that he don't know how to get enough rest because we are going for mahjong tonight.
Oh... Anyway I got the news that the finance cum admin manager resigned and I'm wondering if they will be hiring another one to take over.
I got to get a shower and some rest so that I can win big money tonight. Wish me good luck for tonight!

Christmas Week
Christmas eve morning I went tuition and after that straight to my cousin's house for mahjong and lose $75 after three rounds. We didn't really countdown to Christmas but heard other people from the neighbourhood yelling and shouting at 12am. That's when we realise it's Christmas and we were still playing mahjong. From 3pm till 1am we were playing with a dinner break in between and also stopped for a while at 12am to cut the logcake.
Darling picked me up and I slept at about 4am after bathing and doing don't know what. I woke up at 10am to get ready to go back home. Darling and his parents went to his uncle's place for a gathering. At about 1pm, I was told by my sec school friends that only a few people will be going for the lunch cum exchange gifts. And the time dragged till 2.30pm. What's worse was only 3 people including myself brought present for the gift exchange. I think we shall not have anymore gift exchange in future.
The next few days, I went to work as usual. I got my colleague a gift because she gave me choco. But I didn't expect uncle pek to give me a nice bunny coin bank. Its super sweet and nice of him. But I have not got him anything till now.
Well, that's all for the past 5 days. I shall go to bed right now.

Christmas Shopping
I woke up in the afternoon at about 2pm yesterday. I think it is still too early to wake up because I slept at about 8 or 9am. The mahjong session ended at about 7am and we went to Toa Payoh thinking of having the nice fishball noodle for breakfast. But sadly, the stall is not open and we guessed the uncle must have gone for holiday because Dar's friend told us that the stall was not open when he went there past few days. In the end I have to sleep with an empty stomach.
After we woke up, we went to Jurong Point to buy things for my friends. However, I've not finish shopping yet because there are far too many people I know that gave me presents. Not only that, I have to buy different things for different people. Hopefully they will like it when they receive my prezzie. Even for something similar, I have to pick a few different types to suit them.
We reached home at about 5.30pm thinking that we can catch some sleep but Dar's mom called and told us that their relative from Indonesia came to Singapore and we got to bring them for dinner and Orchard to see the lightings plus some shopping. So Dar and I set out at about 7pm and went for dinner. After that, Orchard for some shopping. It was a tiring day because I don't have enough sleep. We walked from Takashimaya to Paragon and to Wheelock as they wanted to go Borders to get some books. Their daughter is so cute. 3 years old and she is really clever. She even know how to hold the chopsticks properly and eat with it. Joyce don't even hold it properly! Joyce, 3 year old girl can do it, you must learn to hold it properly too.
Anyway, their daughter's name is Michelle too. Even my office has 2 Michelles as well. So they call me the small Michelle which now there is a smaller one. But this smaller Michelle claim that she is BIG Michelle. So cute. I think I'm too attracted by her that I forgot to take a pic of her. Humpf... Angry with myself.

Christmas
Christmas is just another4 days away and I haven't get anything for my friends and colleagues. Yet I've already received presents from some of them. Thanks a lot people.
The accountant I'm working with gave me a box of chocolate. The brand is Ernest Hillier made in Australia. It is actually an assortment of milk and dark choco and it has fillings in it. Some are fruits, some are alcohol. I ate 1 champagne and 1 grand marnier which taste like orange. I must say that it is super nice that I don't think a box is enough but I can't take too many at a time.
Yesterday Joanna, Joyce, Renand and Bernard came to my house for steamboat. We met at 10am at Lot 1 to get food from NTUC and went back to my place to prepare the food. We started at 1pm for our lunch and everyone almost fainted because we were too hungry by then. We watch DVDs during our steamboat session and after our lunch we watched another movie. Following that, we played RISK for a round before Joyce and Renand left. So the remaining 3 of us continued with RISK again for another round. After that we played monopoly till we laugh like mad. Joanna wanted to lose all her money so that she can go to the washroom.
But anyway, we had steamboat for dinner as well. Thanks Joanna for the perfume and Bernard, thanks for your bag of nice assorted tidbits.

Aching legs
Today is kind of a tiring day for me because I woke up at around 10am and went down to Marina Square with Darling.
It is Sunday and I would love to sleep till probably noon time since I didn't get to do that yesterday. However, we went down for shopping from Marina Square to Millenium Walk to Suntec to Funan and back to Suntec for me. As for Dar, he went to meet his friends near Raffles hotel after we walk back from Funan. So we parted at the control station of City Hall.
I walked back to Suntec to meet my eldest sis and we went round shopping. My legs are aching like hell because I wore high heels since friday when I went Bugis shopping. Well, I need to prepare the things I need for work tomorrow. Bye...

Happy and contented
I went Bugis yesterday and got a dress. I told myself not to spend but I can't resist the dress because I wanted to get that type of dress badly, Furthermore, it suits me and fits as well. After negotiating, the best price the person quoted was $28 and I told her that I will consider. So me and my few girl friends went round looking for their things. 4 of us each got a thing in the end. So after considering for a couple of hours and hunting for something similar hoping to get a better price, I got it just before we leave Bugis Village and I got it for $27 because it was the last piece. The person insist no but finally give in because I told her last piece I don't want. I can't help but laugh because I'm super auntie.
After shopping, we went to Bugis Junction food court for our dinner where Joanna and Bernard joined us but Huifang left because she went for movie with her friends. We left home at about 10pm and I don't have the strength to go clubbing because I slept at about nearly 3am and woke up at 7am to go to ROM office to verify my marriage documents.
This morning, woke up at 9 plus wanting to collect my passport but told Dar I don't want to go coz I'm too tired. In the end I laze and woke up at 10am. We sent his mom to work at 10 plus and went to collect my passport and waited for 1 hour. Though I'm tired, but I'm super happy right now because I won a Nintendo DS Lite during the lucky draw just now. It was a christmas party organised by the management where Dar is staying at. The party was held next to the pool side and it was raining heavily in the late afternoon, so we were thinking that maybe not many people will attend. But in the end, the rain stopped and many people attended.
The prize I won is the 6th prize and I was hoping to get it when they announce that it is a DS Lite. Everytime when I walk down shops that sells it, I will always stop and look at the one in pink. Furthermore, I hope to get one so that I won't get bored during my journey on public transport.
So when they say that it was DS Lite, I turned to Dar and told him that I wish I can get it. And tada... I got it. So we get a higher chance of winning the Samsung LCD TV. Well, that was the 2nd prize and sad to say, we didn't get that. There is Nintendo Wii as well and we didn't get that too. A little disappointed. Every household can only purchase a maximum of 5 tickets and it cost $1 each. Freaking cheap because you get to eat and win attractive prizes. 300 over lucky draw coupons but only 74 prizes.
So we got 73rd prize, 63rd prize and 6th prize. Out of 5 tickets, we got 3. Well, what's yours is yours because last year we didn't get a single shit. Maybe that's why we got something this time round. Well, as for the 73rd prize, it was a webcam and 63rd prize is a Akira slow cooker. Of course, the cooker will be given to Dar's mom so that she can cook nice food for me and the webcam for Dar though he don't need it. So the DS Lite would be mine for sure. It comes with 2 games and I love playing Shrek. It is super fun and I'm starting to love it. I know maybe to many people, DS Lite might be 'out of fashion'. But to me, I don't mind as long as it can entertain me because I still play with my colour gameboy though my 2nd sis is playing it more often than me. Well, actually it was dump aside for some time and she got it out from don't know where for her trip to Genting. So now, we are playing it. I spent hundreds over it last time using my own pocket money that was saved for don't know how many years to get the gameboy. I swear it is still in good condition right now because I got a pouch for it as well.
As for this DS Lite, I will be finding a nice casing for it. Probably a pink one. I have not decided what kind of case to get. But the DS Lite is silver, so it looks good in any colour I guess.

Police and thief!
This afternoon, I left home at about 2.45pm because I have a paper at 4pm and I don't wanna be late. After I reached the bus stop at my place, I heard loud shouting and the screeching (is this how it is spelt?) sound of car. I turned and look and saw a guy dashing across the road from blk 458 to the opposite and a police car is giving chase.
I can only say it is so exciting seeing police chasing after suspected to be a suspect. I don't know what crime the guy did so I can't label him as thief, rapist, robber or whatever. But anyway, the police was giving chase and after he dashed across, as the police officers were in the car, the guy turned and saw that the car is making a turn, he ran back across the road again. This time round he ran towards the carpark blk 450. If not because I have to take my test, I will follow the guy and call the police at the same time. I tried taking a video but the guy ran too fast and my phone camera take too long to load. Thus, I capture something but I can't see the guy clearly at all.
What if the guy is a rapist that police are looking for and he got away? Now he is lurking around my area which means many ladies will be in danger. I think I'm thinking too much but I can only say, I hope that there will be no crimes in Singapore so that we all can leave home without locking up and not worrying about things getting stolen.

Assorted...
After I finished the previous post, I had a super hot shower because it was freezing cold.
Step out of the bathroom and into the bedroom was terrible because I on the air-con. Of coz, I sneezed with the hope that this means that my Darling is thinking of me. Haha. But I did not went to sleep right after my shower because who on earth sleeps with wet hair and which woman will sleep before putting face care product on their face? There's no ugly woman. Only lazy woman. I can only say I'm not hardworking because I do have lazy times too. But I will try my best to take care of my face.
After all these had been done, it was about 6am. I laid on the bed and just when I was about to sleep, I could hear the birds chirping. I fell asleep shortly after that and Dar came back about 7 plus and I did peek but didn't say anything because I was too tired. I woke up at 12pm and sms-ed my sister if we are still going shopping.
Apparently, she was still sleeping before I sms-ed her because she called me and told me she was at home when she should be having massage. She had cancelled her massage and slacked at home. After that, my eldest sis sms-ed us telling us that she had got the coach items that we ordered from our cousin because she went to US on business trip. So we asked her to join us for the shopping as well.
Talking about the coach wristlet, it is too small. I thought it would be the size that my sis bought in S'pore. But it is just smaller than it. But it is super cheap compare to Singapore which costs $100 plus. Its only USD 58 and there's 10% discount. After converting to S$, it is around S$78.
Anyway, saw a coach bag around A4 size which cost $780+ and it is quite nice. But that's not the point.
Back to the shopping. I didn't get anything at all because I seriously grown fat! I need to slim down before buying any dresses because I don't want to look like dumpling. I'm trying my best not to eat deep fried food. My friends, please stop me if I'm getting deep fried food or tidbits. I need to go gym as well because its been such a long long time since I last visited gym which was like last semester?
On Sunday, I don't know what on earth happen to me. After going to Dar's cousin house-warming, I had an afternoon nap. When I woke up, I started throwing tantrum and Dar was shocked. In the end, I cried. I don't know what happen but I just felt angry. Over what? I don't know. Dar asked me to eat something sweet and it did help. I started smiling and become normal after I ate the chocolate. Till now, I don't know what had happen. Is this a sign of mental illness? I'm so scared... Will I start chopping people into pieces one day after I wake up? But I'm getting super stress nowadays. There's so much to bear and no one understand. I really feel like giving up my studies for the time being but I've come so far. It will be a waste to stop. I don't know what to say. Bless me...

Bored
The time is about 4am and I just reach home.
Today's night out for dinner was fun but clubbing was not fun at all. I can only say I feel super sian throughout the whole night at DF and really feel like going back home. But I chose to stay because Dar is not home. He is playing mahjong till morning don't know what time and I would be home to early to face the walls.
I didn't drink a lot today as I was feeling unwell after the late dinner. I was so hungry that I got gastric pain and it was so uncomfortable that I puked 1/3 of my dinner. I drank 3 glasses of chivas green tea and martell green tea which contain super little alcohol that I can only taste green tea. But after I finish the 3rd cup, my gastric pain started and went to puke again. I think its the late dinner I had that caused me unwell.
My eldest sis and 2 of her friends joined us from 12am till 2am. After that, they went home. Many people left early today and Jeslin came at 2.30am after most people left. Guoliang and I went off at 3.15am since we were bored and tired. I guessed I'm just bored because I felt so energetic at home right now.
As for the dinner, I can't stop laughing throughout the night because of Joseph. He is a liar that does not blink his eyes when he is telling a lie! I shan't elaborate. But it was real fun hanging out with those people. But at the sacrifice of have wrinkles because I'm laughing too much.
