Stressful Working Life
I’m so sad after seeing the new office of my company. The layout for accounts department is really a disappointment. The room for 2 accounts staff to sit in is smaller than an executive secretary. The room for 1 person is actually twice for the room of 2 people. Furthermore, the cupboards for finance side hinders our activities. I thought moving into a bigger place would be better for us? But it just seems like it is to the benefit of some other people.
I begin to wonder if I’m going to stay in this company for long.
There are really lots of changes in this company. Everybody change. Have I changed as well?
Anyway, last month’s expenditure went up because Dar and I have been going out very often. I didn’t manage to save a single cent last month. This is really angry (angry with myself).
I seriously need to save up for my trip to Bangkok in November. Yes, I know. Bangkok again? Its not a fantastic place after being to Taiwan and Hong Kong. But it will just be a relaxing trip to getaway from this stressful office.
We got an accountant last month but she is not performing to my manager’s standard. Maybe we shall not have too high hopes because we will ended up feeling disappointed. Well, she is not young as well. About 40 plus with a son. My manager and I have been working till 10.30pm on Monday, 11.30pm on Tuesday, trying to finish up her work when she actually left home at about 7 plus. No sense of urgency when dateline is given?
We stayed till 10.30pm last night again trying to finish our own work. This time she stayed with us till then. However, this time round, she is not rushing for anything. I really don’t know what to say. I’m tired. Don’t wish to type anymore.

Typhoon...
I just read my previous post and found out that I did not mention about the bad typhoon I met in Hong Kong. I only mention about raining and strong wind. Oh well, luckily typhoon only lasted 11 hours so it did not affect my shopping the next day. However, it was drizzling on Saturday so it is a little inconvenient. But still, I bought quite a lot of things. Many dresses and tops at freaking cheap price. Ranging from S$8 to S$25. I only got 1 pair of slippers at S$5.
When I came back from my holiday last year from Hong Kong, Dar and I were saying that we would not want to go back again because the things are quite expensive. Seriously, if I never go to those wholesale centre this time, I will still have that thinking. However, I went to this Mong Kok Centre and I was crazy buying the clothes like its free. Now, I want to go back again next time! Taiwan and Hong Kong are my favourite places!

Revealing the Secret
I've been stuck in the hotel at Hong Kong almost the whole day. This is really an experience for me because I've never seen and experience it before. Actually it is just raining and very very very strong wind that a tree can be easily blown uprooted and windows broke into pieces. This was not said by me without prove. It was shown in the news, that's why I know because the place I stay is so far okay without any 'happening' incidents here.
Here I am alone in my room typing on my kepboard with TV on and volume down, I can hear the wind blowing strongly outside. Hopefully everything will be fine tomorrow because I want to go shopping.
Anyway, Dar and I got a car! That is my secret between Darling. Now it is finally revealed. We will be getting the car on 6th September 2008 (hopefully). I'm so going to love my little baby. I already got a few car accesories last night at ladies street but I think Darling is not very happy because I just told him and he was like 'huh! the car will look cute'. Well, that's not what he wants I know. We actually wanted to make it look sporty but seems like I'm turning it to cute.
Well, now the time is 11.45pm. It is not raining that heavily anymore.
I stopped writing and now it 12.08am. I shall stop writing and go to sleep...

Flying off to Hong Kong
Firstly, I need to apologise to Joanna because I can't meet her to celebrate her birthday this Saturday because I will be in Hong Kong. Next, sorry Joyce for giving her the trouble of arranging this gathering and changing it because of me. But still, I'm unable to attend.
Okay, shall meet you all after I'm back. Talking about the Hong Kong trip, it is very last minute. I only got to know about it last Wednesday or Thursday. I will be on my first business trip and I'm so excited. But it will be a training session at our Hong Kong office.
Although I'm happy that I can go overseas again (shopping!!), but the thought of staying alone in the hotel room, I will get scared. Anyway, I will be flying off on this Wednesday 5pm. By right, I should come back on Saturday, but I extended one night so that I can go shopping and eating as well.
Actually there's another happy news. But I shall keep it as a secret until everything is finalised. This is a secret between my darling and me. Bu neng shuo de mi mi.

Miscellanous Updates
I need to write something in August as well. So here I am back to my blog.
First, I need to apologise to Lay Ling because I'm unable to turn up for her birthday on 02/08/08. Anyway, happy birthday Lay Ling. Hope you do read my blog.
Next, Salinla was back last week and we had a chalet. I went down at about 9pm close to 10pm? We had many crazy games and lots of drinking as well. Its really glad to see school mates growing up. It is quite funny that I'm not close with this group but when Salinla is back, I joined them as well. I really don't know what to say. It is just a strange feeling but still, able to talk and play with them. I planned to go back early at first but was kind of tipsy so stayed back to rest. After about 1 hour, I can start drinking and play again.
In the end, Ming Sui and I left at about 7am. I reached home at 8.15am and took a bath and went to out to pray. I was totally stoney and during the trip home, I fell asleep in the car. Only to wake up after my heartless sister left me in the car with the engine off and windows and doors all closed. I felt the heat and woke up to find myself in the petrol station. Seriously irritated and disturbed. Once I reached home at about 12pm, I fell asleep right after I lie on the bed.
I woke up at 3.30pm and went for mahjong session at my cousin's place. My sis had a hard time waking me up from 2.30pm. That's freaking 1 hour. I struggled hard to keep myself awake until darling came and we take turn to play. But in the end, we won $50. Hehe... Happy...
Ok, enough of updating for today. I need to rest my eyes for work tomorrow!
