Wedding - 18 March 2011

Firstly, I have to say...

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

This will be a very good year for me as I'm getting married. Or shall I say, I will be holding my wedding ceremony this year!

On 12 March 2008, I signed on that dotted line and from single, I become married. However, I'm still staying with my mom, so I can still act like a child. But when 18 March 2011 comes, I will be 'officially' someone's wife and I won't be able to wriggle into mommy's arms.

Seriously, I feel old when writing this!

Why didn't the government give us some money for wedding? As an encouragement for us, especially young people that wants to get married early! Maybe they should consider this and start giving me a big red angbao as a start. Woohoo... I'm dreaming...

Wedding preparation is still on the way. We have choosen the wedding invitation card and waiting for it to be printed before collection. I'm still trying to settle on the tables as we will have to increase the tables from 40 to probably 46. The maximum number of tables the ballroom can hold is only 50.

My gown selection is also done. I'm looking forward to my MTM white gown. As it is MTM, I do not know how it will turn out to be like as I only see it on paper. Praying hard that it suits me and it is nice! Tea dress and evening gown have been selected too.

Currently thinking of gate-crashing games with Rachel. We need creative games and no eating if possible. Also, planning the schedule for actual day as it seems to be a bit rush.

I have to plan my honeymoon trip as well. It will be a free and easy trip to Japan. We have booked the tickets and now looking at hotels. We are too lucky to be going during the peak period where hotels will be expensive. Probably is due to their sakura season nearing, so the hotels treat that week that we are going as peak period. *Faint*

I have to say that I'm quite lucky to have a good husband that will care about the wedding much more than I do. He initiated the food tasting, printing of cards and our montage. I'm only doing it when he ask me to call or search etc. *Feels ashamed*

Anyway, it is quite fun to plan my wedding because it is once in a lifetime thingy!
