Sickness...

My last post was on the earthquake and since then, I stop blogging because I was sick.

Thursday was a tough day for me at work. I feel so damn cold when its not that cold actually and I was telling my colleagues that I think I am getting a fever. True enough, around 3pm, I feel feverish and almost fainted in the office. So, I try not to walk around too much.

5 mins before 6pm, I was gone from my desk and off to home. I really cannot tolerate the uneasiness and discomfort the fever had brought to me. As usual, I reached home around 7.30pm which is a 1.5hr ride home. I bathe and went to sleep straight away without dinner. I was thinking that it’s a good way to slim down too.

Anyway, I took my temperature before sleep and it is 38.2ºC

My mum came home and 12am, the light in my room was on and my mom is the clever type because she knew I was sick when I went to sleep so early. She touched my forehead and was nagging and nagging that I’m running a fever and etc. I’m already feeling bad enough and she adds on with all those nagging. I fell back asleep after she gave me some medicine.

Friday morning, I woke up at 4.30am because the fever wakes me up. This time, the temperature raised a little, 38.4ºC. I fell back to sleep again and at 5.30am, I woke up again. I went back to sleep and woke up at 6.30am. Still, my temperature did not go down. The last time I had fever was just after CNY and I didn’t go for work that time. Now, fever struck me again. But this time round, it was a fully combo virus that attack me.

Fever + Sore throat + Running nose + Cough + Headache

I couldn’t talk at all on Friday. I had to write on a piece of paper and ask me sis to inform my AD that I had to be on MC that day. I went back to sleep and woke up in the afternoon. Still, I feel very uncomfortable and giddy. No one was home to take care of me and I was so afraid that I will faint so I stay either on bed or sofa and didn’t move around unnecessary.

I waited for Dar to knock off so that someone can accompany me to the doctor. By then, my temperature was 39ºC.
I don’t want to faint on my way to the doctor. Dar took a cab over after his work and I’m so touched. I didn’t take any food for the whole day because my mouth just don’t want to eat anything.

After doctor, Dar and I went home. My sis bf bought satay and this makes me feel worse! I wanted to eat but I can’t. Dar ate 3 sticks and he told me its not nice. PIG! Not nice then you still finish all of it?

Dar and I went over his place so that he can take care of me and I fell asleep as soon as we reach. 2.30am, Dar wake me up again to take my fever medicine which is Tamiflu. It is a restricted drug! Stupid people abuses the drug and make the cost of it goes up. My medical bill comes up at $83. Thanks to the expensive Tamiflu.

I slept again and wake up at 1pm on Saturday. Went partyworld with my cousins. Dar don’t allow me to go coz I was sick but in the end, he got no choice because I insist. Well, I know I was sick but this singing session was organized by me. My singing sucks that day because of my sore throat and my cousin was asking me is it too long never sing.

My voice was like a guy ever since I regain the voice on Friday afternoon. Its so terrible and my sisters cannot stand it. Even I can’t stand it, for goodness sake.

Dar and I went Suntec for the IT show after singing and we went Hong Kong Café again for our dinner. I think we are eating too much good stuff. That’s why we didn’t slim down.

On Sunday, I went for a dinner with Dar and his family. Loh Hay again, sharks’ fin, roasted chicken, prawns, fish… Luckily, my fever went down.

Yesterday, my usual voice came back to me. But sometimes it will be camouflaged by the guy voice. Today, I think my voice is trying to over-power the guy voice. Hahahaha…

But today, I got a new sickness. I suspect it became stomach flu because my tummy feels so unwell. I still feel giddy and feel that the ground is not leveled. Feel like sleeping. I need to sleep early tonight too.
